The Island Club, Lagos, held this year’s Eid-el-Kabir Dance on Friday at the club house at the Onikan area of Lagos.
The event which was hosted by the Chairman of the club, Philip Abumere, was attended by prominent persons among who are politicians, senior lawyers and tycoons. The event created a good atmosphere to unwind.
Present at the dance were the Lagos State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Mr Tunde Balogun; wife of the Chairman Island Club, Mrs Sola Abumere; the special guest of the day, Oba Rafiu Ishola Balogun; The Elejinrin of Ejinrin Kingdom, his wife, Olori Mojisola Balogun.
Others are: the Deputy Speaker of Lagos State, Wasiu Sanni and past Chairman of the club, Sherrif Olaniyi among others.
The chairman of the club expressed his delight at the turnout, describing the vent as a big success.
